my Bsnl home 500 plan
night unlimited 2:00 AM to 8:00 PM ----> my speed 11-32 kb only
why my slow speed internet?
last 2 month 11 - 32 Kb speed only
i am sad
please help me man

Test Mumbai server at Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test. Report results. or post link
delete http www etc. ( You may not be allowed to post links till you make 15 posts here , i think )
Mention modem/router model.

if its via torrents , then you need to port forward..

Also there may be noise in your telephone line. get your line checked by BSNL.

according to your price plan you should be getting that high speed at nite, can you please post what speed you get at nite and from where you are checking the speed, there may be some issues like
your line capability (just check with your local exchange how much max speed you can get on your line)
incorrect plan updated in BSNL system
line fault
incorrect modem/router config

please update basic details like your Operating System & Modem/Router as there may be a problem with you router config or something and contact your local exchange once to confirm maximum stable rate on your line

I request you please don't open duplicate thread's for same issue, you can get resolution on single thread too

May be u should ask bsnl guys and post a complaint.There are cases similar as urs that is bsnl guys might br throttling ur connection.Or just verify ur plan order it might be unlimited plan where the speed is around 25-30Kbps

hey i am using 256 plus plan and i too getting very slow download speed around 10-11kbps any suuggestions

yes bsnl is throttling the speeds or 50:1 thing is happening ,

i get around 2mb speeds in daytime and 32kbps during night unlimited,there is no problem with my line ,so its clear that bsnl is the one to blame for choking their servers with new connections without upgrading their server bandwidth

occasionally once in a while i get 2mb speed during night unlimited ,i just wanna throw my modem on that telecom minister raja's face,he is useless

i hate contacting customer care,they r hopeless,just left it ,never take services of a govt aided company

I have also the same problem from last 20-22 days download speed dropped to 10-16 kBps during night unlimited (2 A.M -8.00 AM) in my Home 500 plan I have complain many times but BSNL authority says line is perfect they have nothing else to do.

rupu u can complaint to your area manager,

i noticed today,until 2:10 am its 2mb speed,then after its 300-500 kbps speed

clearly shows that the network is choked or the bsnl is capping the speed

i m using bsnl for nearly 2 years and since 2 months its been pathetic speeds during night unlimited,
