    Smile Wireless Home Network setup

    Hi Guys,

    I have three systems and I have to share the BB connection wirelessly as the three are in diff places, two in two rooms and one outside. Can someone please list the things needed to have this setup?
    Example : Wireless Router + Modem
    I do need wireless LAN cards in all systems right?

    Secondly, which one should I go for? I want to return the modem by BSNL. Am comparing WCG200 with NetGear DG834.(Also, what is the difference between DG834 with the different suffixes; like DG834Gv5?).

    I am eagerly awaiting a detailed reply so that I can start off asap!

    Please visit the Broadband How to section. There are many guides there. In particular, please read the following guides:

    1. Basic Broadband Guide

    2. SOHO Guide

    Thanks @just4kix. The images are simple to understand the logic behind the setup. Although I can understand the concept, I would still need help.

    I do not want to use the BSNL Modem. I have the old MT800. So, which one of the two ADSL routers should I go for? Please let me know.

    Wireless Broadband Routers: DG834G 3 in one
    consider DG834GT for better range ?
    DG834 to be used with another modem like Mt800

    @essbebe,

    I came to know that DG834G is enough and you don't need any other modem. Thanks to @just4kix!
