2mbit is correct.
which in common terms mean 2048kbps / 8= 256 KBps

DO YOU MEAN kbps(8) or kBps(1)...it means 1kBps=8kbps....torrent always show in kB ok.....so it means 40x8=320kbps(which is very poor speed).....home plan means 2mpbs....that means nearly you should get 250 kBps = 1.953125 mbps..but ur speed is 40kB....

.IWAS GETTING SPEED OF 180-230 kBps when i was using ur plan .........now i have ul750(32kB speed max or say 32 kB = 256 kbps)....now i get 28-37kB that means more than my max speed..............

give me ur full details (torrent software, modem, etc etc)..i will tell you what you should try.......ok dear believe me ..i will help u with good tips as much as i can.....

Lightbulb Use lan plzz

WI-FI SPEED IS SLOW...EVERY WIRELESS CONNECTION IS SLOW IF U COMPARE IT WITH CABLE CONNECTION....TRY THIS LITTLE TEST ...COPY ANY FILE TO UR CELL VIA BLUETOOTH OR INFRARED AND THAN CONNECT DATA CABLE OR CARD READER AND AGAIN COPY THE SAME FILE....U WILL SEE HUGE DIFFERENCE IN SPEED I MEAN TO SAY VERY HUGE .....THIS IS JUST AN EASY EXAMPLE(DONT COMPARE IT WITH INTERNET SPEED)....SO I PREFER TO USE LAN .....I AM USING LAN AND MY NORMAL SPEED IS 27-34kB ....ON SAME UL750 PLAN........

@ravikang, The bandwidth of bluetooth(3 Mbit) and infrared is far less than that of wifi. Wifi routers/modems are capable of transmitting upto 300 Mbps. The speed of 32 kBps provided in UL750 will not differ whether using wifi or lan. I am on UL750 and I have a UTstarcom WA3002G4, there is no difference in speed.
