Thread: plz help : BB Very slow

hi,
i m a bb user with 500c plan.
few days (4-5) ago my connection r ok. but nowadays my connection r very slow in 2.a.m to 8.a.m.where my dwload speed around 40kbps with IDM & many pages r not opening.
but other time after 8.a.m to before 2.a.m my bb connection r ok.

i use default setting...

i m facing the same problem over the last week. Dont even know what brought this cause i took the connection only 1 month ago.i m using home 500c plan. used to get around 220kBps in utorrent earlier. now it has dropped to 65kBps. this is going on for about one week. if ur connection gets back to normal, let us know.

WTF is BSNL up to?

Even I am facing the same problem since one week in my 500C plan. Guys, please have a talk with the BSNL people and reply.

Yes. I noticed the speed drop in Calcutta circle too. All of my friends in the city are also experiencing similar problems. May be because of holidays too many people are downloading too much data.

^^ That's a fake reason. The correct reason is that no one in bsnl knows anything technical about broadband and it's routing. The end users have to suffer.

My last 2 days with BSNL.

That's my so-called "upto" 2 Mbps 500C plan. I am getting such speeds only during the happy hours i.e. 2am to 8am.

During 8:01am to 1:59am, I am getting full 2 Mbps speed. I am facing this bullshit problem since the last 3 weeks and now, I've completely lost my patience.

Will get this crappy connection disconnected in the next week. :31:

I have also the same problem for last 15-20 days during free hour speed dropped to 180-200 kbps in my Home 500 plan bsnl authority says to many people downloading that time so speed become low they says try to download any ftp or http server(not rapidshare or megaupload etc) using download maneger (orbit recomended/flashget) for direct download then speed will increase but i still complain that last few month I used to get 1.5-2.0 mbps speed for all site they says problem will solve within few days.

have you checked the attenuation in your connection? The max attenuation that it can suffer is 35 more than that you can complain at BSNL....

My line attentuation is low 16.5/6.0 db down/upstream but still my download speed getting low during night(02:00-08:00)

Well then the problem is at the BSNL connection server.... You might wanna complain over and over again until they frustrated and fix(it worked for me when i had problem similar to this)....

@everyone : I just had a chat with a higher level officer in Pune and he listened to everything that I wanted to say and finally he concluded that BSNL NIB (Bangalore) must be having some problems. He said he'll talk to them.

Important : If any of you people from Pune are facing slow speed issues please contact 020-26357000 immediately and explain them the matter.

But the problem is, BSNL Dataone speed test is showing 1983 kbps. Also, BSNL has never promised the speed of 2 mbps. What they have said: Speed from 256 kbps upto 2 mbps.

And hence BSNL can refuse to listen to us.

Omg!! Now even you are facing this problem!

Dude plz call 26357000 on some working day and tell them that you are getting slow speed.

Problem is that i not even get 256 kbps in night unlimited time but after 08:00 AM speed is reached 2mbps within a minute

IM having the same problem from past few days... staying awake at night for downloading and not getting speed is.... :nono: if this continues for long i would be changing the plan :surrender:

u already have the best plan.
just go see a superior officer. stick to him like he is ur principal.
and get ur port changed.

rupu ,you upload speed is more than download speed,i guess u felt like smashing ur modem to a wall
