^ even I am facing the same.downstream rate reduced from 11200 kbps to 2044 kbps.My upload speed has been drastically reduced to only 48 kBps and download merely touches 140 kBps.

What is more painful if I upload torrents download speed reduces to 40 kBps.Already complained but Line is Ok according to them.

Im also having the same speed reduction problem...... My bandwidth reading never goes beyond 1.7 Mbps these days...........

Someone got their problem solved by getting a new port, I see.......

1.7Kbps is reasonably good.
instead of testing with speed test .net, try www.dataone.in speed test at the bottom of page, it would help you to know condition between your server and your modem.

My advice..... Dont disable ADSL, ADSL+ modes in the modem...... It will only reduce the bandwidth.........

@royal
Satisfactory Data. In a long thread,
you should summarise your problem/steps taken/
progress if any.
If speed problem try
tcp/ip optimizer fro speedguide.net.
The D/L speed is never constant.
varies from website to web site.
Download a file/security patch from
Microsoft.( not from Automatic updates )
The speed shown ( without
use of Download Manager) can be
taken as reliable.
