Thread: Speed problem in 500C

hey friends,
i had applied for a plan change from 750UL to 500C, they changed it on october 1, but the download speed is still 30-32 kbytes/s.

I chkd my order status on the portal,
it says -Home 500 Combo; downloadspeed upto 2Mbps 2008/10/01 09:30:52
Also service records- says change plan
Home 500 Combo; downloadspeed upto 2Mbps 2008/10/01 12:17:17 2008/10/01 14:38:16 44424 113468 157892 8459 157892
Plan- HOME UL 750 Plus 2008/10/01 08:10:06 2008/10/01 08:28:54 1627 6333 7960 1128 0

I complained abt this by phone- they checked my line -says -line is ok.& problem in ur pc. But i checked my pc-scan for viruses, restart etc.nothing correct.

my router inf:
Downstream Upstream
SNR Margin (dB): 32.3 20.1
Attenuation (dB): 25.0 12.3

WHat is problem? Is they forget to speed upgrade?Should igo to exchnge to complaint abt this?

i m assuming that u have resetted tcp/ip cos they might cause the prob.
search google how 2 reset tcp/ip depending on ur os.and also uninstall ur lan driver,
reinstall it and create new connection.
see if it changes.
if not, head for the exchange right away.

Some times the speed does not update when changing from UL plans to Home plans. But should not take more than two weeks to start functioning normaly.
