Thread: broadband plan change

i have applied for change of broadband plan from 'home 250' to 'home 500 c'
on 23/10/08.how many days will it take for changing plan.will it change from 1st of next month(1/11/08).

well technically it should , but if ur exchange is not very busy then it will be done within a week or two

You can expect the plan migration to take place on 1/11/08.

It changes on 1st of month as thats the billing cycle BSNL have on their system.

mine was changed within two days.....

i hope its upto the bsnl workers.....they have different calculation for different things...

i think online application for plan change is only available in chennai area...

Check in Usage portal from 1/11/2008 and see under My Orders.
Plan "Provisioned". till confirmation do not download heavily
during NU times.
Also switch off modem at 0150 AM and restart say around 0205 AM

Again disconnect modem at about 0755. restart around 0810AM

to avoid Free NU download/s overlapping and heavy billing.

Anyway , if you were BSNL BB user for more than six months.
most BSNL circles have offered double quota during Nov 2008.
( as Deepavali/DIWALI bonus !)

Since BSNL is offering double bandwidth usage during the month of November, all plan changes are going to happen in December. This is what I understood from the BSNL website.

i think diwali bonus is not applied to bangalore region.
so i hope my broadband plan changes from 1st of november.
