    Default Help!! PPPoe Authentication failure

    when i go to homepage of my router siemens sl2 141 pppoe ip address is not shown and for four days modem is not working
    idid not change my password too

    Default same problem here..

    i get dis authentication problem very frequently...
    i guess its d problem with the default password....now i c dat my default password has been changed after i gave d modem to d xchange ...

    i used to get dis...

    WAN/ (0/35) / edit / next / next / ppoe username.... multiplay password....multiplay
    some times i get d above values for my username n password ..changing them to default used to solve my connection problem....

    If you are using IE clear cache/temporary files/.
    Now try 192.168.1.1 user ID admin password admin.
    If not able to open you have to reset the router to factory settings.

    first try what essbebe suggested and if still its not working then you may need to reset your modem to factory defaults, which will reset your password to default but after resetting you need to config it once again
