Thread: Any upgradation in 2009 ?

Will BSNL upgrade their broadband plans in 2009 ? In 2007 they increased their speed upto 2MB/s for limited plans. In 2008 they launched 8mbps business plans (unaffordable for home users like me).

Has there been any info released about their plans next year. Also I found some articles all across the web saying "BSNL to provide FREE broadband in 2009". Sounds like a BAD joke to me.

In April, 2008, they also reduced the rate of UL900 plan to Rs 750 and renamed it as UL750. Another plans called UL1350/+ were introduced. Also brought the Home 125 plan which was practically useless to most.

Next April, we may see some further improvements. But it is useless to speculate right now.

Still now no announcement from BSNL, lets see ................

Yeah since April is the start of the fiscal year in India, I think we should look for new announcements then.

I just hope they makes usefull changes.

Dont you have 1Mpbs Home plan in Manipur..

i know this wont be possible

mabye 4mb speed upgrde home 500, 500c,500c+

for 750 ul reduce the price to 650 ul

i think the 1mbps unlimited plan is available throughout india.. 4mbps.. man i wish.. i dont think they will reduce the 750ul as they recently reduced it from 900ul

2mb speed is old now,so bsnl shud increase the bandwidth to 4mb

and introuduce 1 mb ul plan

ya tht will be fine. 1mb unlimited @500 rupees er month...:surrender:

I'd like to have 1 MBPS unlimited plan too. But this is bsnl we're talking about. Lets see what happens.

who wouldnt like a 1mbit ul plan at 500\-.
but i dont think i could enjoy it. cause if i hear it is happening, i would probably have a heart attack.

i will take two 1mb UL connections then

narasimhan, then bsnl will remove the night unlimited and only 2.5 gb download


if they put night unlimited then every one will switch to 500 plan (including ul users),haha then it will be doom for bsnl

yea.. i was abt to comment tht only.. tht if 500 plan they change to upto 8mb ps. i will definately stick to this... man.. lightening speed.. lol.. well if night unlimited if they remove then i will go for 1 or 2mbs unlimited !!!! thts simple logik.. lol

is there a plan(by any other providers) that could beat 500 plans of bsnl. my friend wanted to know before opting 500 plan. he mainly needs speed.

i dont think so.. 500 plan is best till now..:thumbup:

if they upgrade to 8mbps then obviously they also need to increase the download limit to 5 or 10gb in order to keep balance or else with 8mbps speed 2.5gb will be used within 10days.
