    Default That happens with BSNL

They sometimes give free upto 8:10 in the morning. And they might charge after 2:00 too.

I recommend restarting your computer or internet after 2:00 so that they start a new connection.

just take a copy of the usage details from the website, bill in which they charged for it and go to the nearest bsnl exchange. you have to meet the account officer.
if you proved it, they will do the needful.
    dont get panic.

Yes but the cpu clock needs to be syncronized too. I've noticed that BSNL servers are sychronized with Microsoft servers. I've auto synchronization enabled in the Date And Time Properties -> Internet Time in windows.

siriustds, You should visit AO as mentioned earlier with your bill. But if you dont start the connection after 2:00 AM and Disconnect before 8:00 AM I think you will be charged for it.

Default Extremely High Amount for Broadband+Landline

    TO From: BHASKAR MITRA
    The Accounts Manager phone: ********
    Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.
    Vasna Telephone Exchange.
    Ahmedabad.

    Revered Sir, Date: 7/1/2009

Most respectfully I beg to state that my Telephone-[********] with Broad Band connection[Tariff-Home 250] has been installed on September 08 and continued up to October 08.

Then I opted for new plan Home500C on November 08 and deposited accordingly on 17/11/08.

But my Phone + Net bills for the month of October [Rs.1454/-] and November [Rs.3036/-] are Extremely high which raise some doubts in my mind regarding the bill assessment procedure.

So, kindly provide me the billing details for October and November 2008 to satisfy myself.

In this regard I would also like to clear my views about the internet user details. So, kindly provide me one User Guide Booklet from your office.

1] The new plan should be started from the 1st December 2008 and not from the middle of November to avoid the billing dispute.

2] Plan 500C consists of 175 free calls/month and One India plan for Land line consists of 50 free calls/month. So, total 225 free calls/moth and I should get proportionate free call for 10 days[Novmember20 to30] but surprisingly I get only18 calls free for November 08.

3] Your Website: bbservice.bsnl.in is only for the name sake and never opened on customer computer even after repeated trial to look upon the actual usage.

Sir, it is my earnest request that you please look into the matter at the earliest to solve the discrepancy in the bill amount and for this act of kindness I shall be remain grateful to you.

    Thanking You.
    With Regards-
