Rep Power: 0  |  help reqd in setting up internet connection Hi All, i am using BSNL broadband connection on my desktop (XP). My modem is UT 300R2U. i want to use this connection with my laptop (Vista). i initially tried installing the driver software of the modem on my laptop but it is not installing it. please suggest how i can set up the internet connection. thanks in anticipation. |

Rep Power: 3  | How do you want to connect to the internet from your laptop i.e. through wi-fi or through LAN cable?? Is your modem wi-fi or not? The software is only needed when you are connecting to internet through USB And configure your modem to PPPoE mode to use internet connection in multiple machines through the very same connection independent with each other |

| Platinum Member  | Please refer this guide: UT300-R2U Ver 2.2 - Guide for setting up Setup the modem in PPPoE mode and then only you can connect both machines together. For more articles, refer the Broadband How to section (look at the announcement  ) |
