Smile Simple Night unlimited technique
Dear All,
I have been using BSNL broadband for the past one year and i have been downloading abt 3 gb everyday during 2 to 8am. Let me share wid you the procedure

1. use windows scheduler to wake ur system up at abt 2 10 am (There is an option in scheduler for waking up the system even from hibernation!!!)
2. Use some small prgram to strt up in the scheduler lik notepad etc.
3.Switch on the modem at 9 pm, 10 pm etc on previous night
4.keep the download program on and hibernate the system( switch off the
monitor)
5. From next day onwards you only have to hibernate the system and switch on the modem at right time thats all... everything els is taken care of...
and even though modem is on till 2 theres no download as the system will be virtually switched off... try this if u feel its simple

i think u r talking when connection is in bridge mode... how abt wifi?? ie poope mode? how to do tht any idea?

i think the timings given are for mtnl free times.. (not sure).. can u plz tell me how to test ,, right now?? what and where i have to make current changes for time... its just not goin in my head.. and will it work for wifi router? i think anyway my computer will wake up . but router i have to reboot right??

the timings given are sample timings... bsnl calculates time in the hour basis lik it stars from 2 am if you had previously started your modem at 10 pm or 11 pm etc.. or iif you start at 10.20 pm it will download till 2 20 am without night unlimited.. u have to keep the modem on al night even wen system is in hibernation... there wont be any download during this period. you dont have to reboot the modem..

to test this you just et ur scheduler time and hibernate the system... it will wake up and strt to download..u ve to keep the download prg also on during hibernating.

are u sure?? MY MODEM IS IN POPPE MODE.. WIFI CONNECTING MY LAPTOP TO MODEM.. as per my views i saw everyone talking tht u have to reeebot the modem around 2 am.. so tht free time can be used...

cn u pl tel me hw to setup mt841 for multiple pc's?

also the setting which i learn t work jus fine, but disappear if the modem is rebooted....

Yes it works... you dont have to reboot the modem..trust me... only thing is u ve to start your modem at the right time..

this is only for night unlimited plans
when is the right time so basically? dont tell me after 2 am.. if i can get up after 2am .. and turn on my modem then i can on my lap top and do some more few clicks and start u torrent downloads.. and sleep.. matter for 10 mins only.. lol

U don't need it for 250 home plan... cuz therez no night unlimited in 250 plan... for 500 home plan bsnl provides 2-8 AM free unlimited download... People of 500 plan use these techniques so that they can sleep without worrying much about their downloads...

well.. i had seen on this forum itself.. ppl telling tht u must reboot your modem after 2 am ,,, or there are chances tht the download may be calculated on as charged units... what u ppl have to say?? how come this concept changed suddenly??/

well then y to make such configurations and all.. like if u anyways have to get up to reboot your modem.. then i think i one more min u can switch on your pc n click on utorrent... right?? or wrong??

is there no way??i am really having problem in getting up.. as due to my busy schedule..
