Thread: Skype consumes too much usage all of a sudden

Hi, Everyone,

Please find below detail as from BSNL site of my just 15 min. usage of BSNL broadband involving Yahoo type chat (about 4 min.) immediately followed by Skype voice chat (about 11 min.). My plan is Home 250.

This total has been quite surprising to me.

Ever since I started using BSNL broadband from last August, I had noticed that Skype (pc to pc) voice chat of approx. 1 hr would just consume nearly 15-16 mb only.

I had an expired Anti-virus definition and had a problem that looked like virus attack a couple of weeks ago. Everytime I opened PC, my monitor would get flooded with message box "Email proxy.....".

Now, I have replaced the Anti-virus software with a new one and my PC is running fine. In order to be controlling bandwidth, all my running programs Update options have already been set to off mode.

Any solution, please help me.
