Exclamation Siemens C2110 port forwarding and scheduling

    C2110(Firmware Version V55.1.04.10 )

well after deciding to switch isp to a faster one and waiting for 3 months i finally got my bsnl home 500 c+ connection ..

my old isp was a 256kbps unlimited connection, so i never had to worry about scheduling utorrent to download at 2am and stop it at 8 am ...

now to the real problem part.. my modem is curently set to an always on mode (no dial up required )

    1. how do i port forwad my utorrent port ?

    2. how do i schedule utorrent to start at the night unlimited hours ? what is your prefered method ?

Port Fowarding principles are same in all modems/routers. Read the guides and apply the principles. Use NAT-DMZ option if Virtual Server option is not available.

Refer to PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall for more details.

@sexorcist, I am having a bit of a dilemma of understanding from your last post.

Earlier sb21pro and I asked you to look into the Broadband How to section and read the guides. But you were not convinced. Later on essbebe gave you direct links and you found the post useful.

I wish to make the forum more user friendly. Sitting on this side of the table, it is easy for me to say, look here/look there, but the newbies are not satisfied with the answer and sometimes get frustrated too. So I wish to understand the newbie's point of view.

I have posted an announcement what people should do the first time. Also all the guides threads are made sticky so that they end up first in the list. Let me know what more can be done apart from giving spoonfed replies all the time.

@others, please feel free to voice opinions/criticisms. I assure you I look positively at criticisms.
