    BSNL to offer gaming services to its broadband subscribers

    Gaming enthusiasts now have much to cheer with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Bangalore Telecom District, offering gaming services to its broadband subscribers as part of its value-added package.

    BSNL, which has tied up with global mobile content publishers India Games Limited would, offer subcribers a free one month trial offer for the entire period of November.

    After the trial offer, consumers would be offered two plans to choose from. Under the Rs 200 per month plan, consumers could have the option of 240 premium games and under the Rs 100 casual plan, they could enjoy 110 games.

    The upload and download would be free. A subcriber would have to download the game on the hardisk and play the game, provided he was online. The game could not be copied.

    The games that would be available include, Age of Empire, War Rock, Brian Lara Cricket, Crash Day, Gunbound, Tomb Rider, Code Master, Collin Machine Rally among others.BSNL and India Game Limited had entered into a revenue sharing model for the services.

    after downloading.. will it connect to internet.. and keep updating or something>> which will add up usage charges additional?? and is it all aver india or in some states?? good option though...
