Thread: BSNL broadband and phone not installed yet!!!!!!

Hi guys,

I applied for both landline and broadband on 26 th this month.I got the receipt from the exchange. I called up so many times to the concerned dept to fix the appointment but they say they wil come and install it. But so far no confirmation call or nothing happening from their side.

My enquiry is "How many days it wil take them to install the phone and broadband connection???"

Landline phone should not take too much time... as Diwali they must be on leave .... you should get broadband connection after you get the landline phone...

hey dude it depends upon your area and usually it takes 12 to 14 days for their install...since u have applied for telephone(which comes with your broadband connection)
it will take atleast minimum of 10 days...they have to set the telephone port in your area for your house and then within 2 days they will give the broadband connection

the mantra u have to know with bsnl is "wait wait wait............."

Landline = Maximum 7 days.
Broadband = 1-2 months.

you may need to wait for some time as it depends upon number of things like
area
exchange
line condition
availability

as you said that you applied for BB on 26 so after that there were few holidays like diwali, bhai dooj and all that so it may take some time, please be patient

very true i have applied for a broadband connection on the 7 th of this month so far no response. when i call them the say no ports available wait a little longer

Kottayam, Kerala. Now they tell me may be in about a weeks time i may get it, will keep you posted

Well they changed their view. now they say i have to wait till further expansion, they say i may get it in dec if i am lucky. no idea what to do

At last the phone is installed today(after visited the exchange for each and every single day by my father for the last 2 weeks...horrible experience wid the BSNL) waiting for the broadband to be installed..lets see how many more days they will take
