1.5 TB hard drives are already available now, though my expectation is in a couple of years more people will be using solid state drives instead of hard disk drives.

Also by that time holographic disc storage should be available commercially. With disc capacities in the TB range.

even though i wont be buying those, i m certainly looking forward to 1TB hdd price to fall.
And within a year it will be quite cheap and affordable.

No, I wasn't trying to say BSNL is better compared to other countries ISPs. I was simply pointing out that there are even worse ISP around the world. Even so, BSNL may be the cheapest ISP there is.

    quite agree,
bsnl home500 plans are cheap and the 2mbit night unlimited feature helps downloading
needs sufficiently. if only the service was good!!!

20 MBits.. i like the sound of that..
But millions have problems getting 2Mbit speed optimized itself...

well.. as far as I'm concerned.. as long as there are free torrents to download.. I'd be happy..

By the way??.. What speed do the T1/T3 type connections that we used to see in Limewire provide??

T1 or T1 line is a digital, dedicated phone connection supporting data rates of 1.544 megabits per second (Mbps). A T1 line actually consists of 24 individual channels, each supporting 64Kbits per second. Each 64Kbit / second channel can be configured to carry voice or data traffic.
T3 (Also referred to as DS3) Internet connection type is one of the fastest methods of broadband Internet connection that can be established. In fact, a T3 Internet connection is the second fastest non-optical connection available in North America. T3 Internet access lines are capable of carrying data at an extraordinary rate of 44,746,000 bits per second (45 Mbps). In order to put this data transfer speed into perspective, 45 Mbps is equivalent to the transfer speed generated by 750, 56 Kbps modems.
