Realistically, with good seeding, the UL750 user should be able to download at 28~30 kbps. So assuming one keeps the PC on for 24 hrs, in a day it will be:

    30 kilobytes * 60 s * 60 min * 24 hr = 1728000 KB or ~ 1.65 GB.

P.S. : We(Home 500 users) dont need to sacrifice sleep for downloading.

Considersing UL750 users get 32 KBps (which is hardly the case) for 24 hrs they can downlaod : 2700 MB.

For working online, Internet browsing , watching online videos etc. UL750 is a good plan.
But not for downloading. Home 500 is suitable for those who wants to download lots of data.

Or u want to signify tht u can schedule all ur downloads at free hours?
How is it realistic tht u use night unlimited (which stars at 2pm)&dont loose sleep!!!
I was losing a lot when i was usin HOME500.
Also do u really need 100 GBs of data each monthOr u dwnld just for the sake of dwnloading?

all u gotta do is to stay awake till 2.00am, schedule ur downloads in the mean time and at 2 start downloads, go to sleep. use any auto shutdown soft to shutdown ur pc at 7.52am.
I do it every day and download around 4.2GB per night.
If u want specific info about how to schedule downloads, just ask.......

We must never confuse the ip shown in windows (unfortunately my knowledge is limited to windows os only ) tcp/ip settings with the ip provided by our ISP(internet service provider : in my case BSNL) . If we dont set any ip in tcp/ip settings windows automatically sets one for us within the provided range by our modem/router.
Then comes the modem/router which has its own ip address. This address has to be the default gateway for our pc.that means when some data packets r sent from pc, it ends up at the modem.
But these IPs r of no importance because our ISP provides us with an unique IP which is different from these. This IP can be static(always the same) or dynamic(changing after a period of time) according to our service plan. My home500c plan gives me dynamic IP. U can check this Ip whenever u visit speed testing sites like speedtest.net etc.
Sites like rapidshare work with this ip only, not ur pc ip or modem ip. U can never change this ip, so cheating Rapidshare is outta question. But since dynamic ips r changed automatically, in case of dynamic ip change RS will not be able to verify ur past download details and u will be able to get more stuff from RS.

    "lol. a BIG info.."

did i write up all that stuff for nothing...............

What was the clear concept from my last post???
ans: the real IP address is set by DHCP which is owned by our ISP. There r many tutorials on net on how to change IP, but frankly I never found one useful because to change IP at ur whim u gotta buy the DHCP server.

In some small cases if u change mac address in ur modem, the ISP provides another dynamic IP. But, only a handful modems support mac add change.

As for queing up RS downloads, RS doesnt even allow starting up one dlod before finishing one.

Rapidshare reviews, resets, upgrades their security on a daily basis. Thats y no RS-leeching software stays active for more than a month. Cheating RS is out of the question.

So u r assuming tht u can resume ur dwnloads,so basically torrents &p2p ..And u r telling tht u get 4GB of ur need from torrents (with excellent seeding)each day!!!
Thats not realistic as far as my experience goes..
I dont need tht much each day ,basically i dwnload lots of vsts, sound samples, loops which r mostly available from direct dwnloads.
And with this method u cant dwload from RS,MU etc..
Suppose u want to dwnld a particular File X today .Whats the surity tht ull get a torrent for tht with high &healthy seeding? And ur telling me tht u do tht for everynight with 4GB as ur output!!!...thats hard to believe...

First of all I schedule my downloads and I dont loose my night sleep. yea I have too keep my PC on till 2 AM but thats ok.

Secondly, what do you mean by do we need 100GB per month or not. there are so many stuff to download across the internet.

I think you need to wake up. May be you sleep too much.

Private torrent tracker sites offer great download speeds which are well seeded. Infact speed is lot more than 2mbps, unfortunately bsnl does not gives higher speeds than 2mbps for home users at affordable price.

It completely depends upon ur needs with broadband. If u choose not to download anything at all, thats ur business. With my home500c plan I end up downloading a little more than 120GB per month, and I need/enjoy every byte of it.

    whats there to assume????????????
    everybody pauses/resumes their torrent(p2p) downloads.
Secondly, my needs r not limited to a single "X" file per day. Generally I plan to download many " Y, Z, ..............alpha,beta" files per day.So, if I dont get that "X" file, I still end up downloading my other needs. And per night my dlod amounts to almost 4.2GB.
DO U NEED A SCREEN SHOT OF MY LAST WEEKS USE ????????????????

I already told u my needs are on direct dwnloads mostly so 500 plans& these methods will not work out for me.
Anyway ,this thread didnt yield desired results.I was hoping for some snaps from UL750 users & what came up instead is some silly arithmatics.
    Hope c ya soon folks...

use download managers like IDM, getright.
IDM can be easily scheduled from options menu.
Use winScheduler or any other to start it up at 2am.
If u have put enough downloads in its list, then it will go on downloadin entire night and u will get larger dlod without loosing sleep.
This process wont help Rapidshare users.

ive been using IDM for over 4 yrs now..amazing dwnload manager..no doubt abt tht.
But The problem with me is tht the samples come in 1/2/3 GBs and r mirrored as part rars over RS or MU.And u cant schedule from there..
Torrents r generally not found for loops &samples which r freshly released.
I once made a small sample using Limewire but thts a rarity.

I have Home 750 UL plan. I switched to it after getting a 6k bill using Home 250 plan.

Some times I download + upload upto 25 GB in a month maximum. I am perfectly happy with the browsing speed. But downloading speed no good. It's a test of patience with Home 750 UL. Now I am going to switch to Home 500 C+.

U r preety right abt the patience factor.Thats the main reason which forced me from the then UL900 to HOME 500.
But theres another vital factor---the health factor--abt which ull only come to know after using 500 for some months..

I am not switching to to Home 500 C+ to download faster. The main reason is because I need to use a Web-Cam and I cannot use it in 32KB speed. Otherwise I would have stayed with Home 750 UL.

BTW. I didn't go though the full thread. But I thought you are using Home 750 UL till now. The topic is "How Much do U make UL750 Users ?" after all.
