Today while checking the Network setup from the new desktop (with vista OS) i reliazed it was able to detect multiple Wireless network as i stay in a apartment. my concern is how to ensure my connection is secure and ensure the folders which are shared on either computers is not accessed by others. Also I am unable to view the folders on the PC (with XP OS) the folders which are shared on Vista OS PC. Please assist.

how to ensure my connection is secure
...In Show all connections, click your wireless Network.
.... or any other network shown active.
.......Does it say "secured " or Unsecured" If former, the message
........ will be " this connection requires a security key " enter it etc .
..........So In your WIFI router set up enable wep security.
WAIT.....
