Please post your exact modem make and number.

You must enable wireless network in the modem. CD is of no use - it is for modem drivers only. Refer to some of the guides in Broadband How to section. Note that although your modem may be different, the principles of setting up are same.

    Hi Kavita
    welcome to Indiabroadband.net

seems like you are using a different modem so please update complete modem name and model number to get more info on this
as just4kix said CD is of no good use so i agree with him and trust us you can config your modem manually which is far much more easy

please update your modem name and model number and do check Broadband How to section

wish you a nice stay on Indiabroadband.net

well basically it would be better if you have these two things checked for your setup
1)use ppoe mode ( if you have more than 1 pc at home)
    2) ensure that DHCP is enabled in your modem..

Here are some tutorials which could help you, you can apply the same steps to your modem as well
1)for ppoe mode Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: How To setup PPOE mode (Automatic Dialing) in UT300R2U,WA3002G4
2)enable dhcp Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: HOW TO ENABLE DHCP IN YOUR MODEM OR ROUTER

well for that.. the most general instructions one can give is login to your router with your router username and password.. then look for the WIRELESS page and select WEP or WPA(WPA preferred) and enter a shared key which will be like a password which you have to enter to connect to your network..save/reboot router..
