Well guys I m A Super -InTernet user.....I Have DATAONE Home 500 plan With NiGHt unLiMiTed.......AnD I Usually Download 2-3 gB During NiGht UnLimiTed Time.......

And , yes Even I Was ConFronted With D SAmE "ReDIRECTION PROBLEM" ......

So In A Hurry I ReCoNFiGured My ROUTER {UT-300R2U} Settings..For The Fear THat BSNL WIll CharGe Me For D Download Of More 3 GB Data During NiGHt Unlimited.....

But After That i Knew that It Was just An AlErtiNg System.... Therfore After That i ReconfiGured my MoDem ...& I was Successful....

but There is a PRoblem....Now As Soon As moDem Is TuRnEd On...iT Automatically connects To the ISP...And Activates My Connection .....i mean u dont Need to Connect Through Dial up ConnectioN...



But What i Want Is That i Should Manually Connect to My ISP Using a Dial Up ConnecTion With USERNAME & PASSWOrD provided By BSNL.....


I have been MessiNg With d ROUTEr ConFiGURAtIon from3 Days..But Still In VAIN...


I Have Read Both D GUIDEs Available Here....but No1 Of them Seems to Answer my QuesTion.....

So Plz help Me.....

AnD One More ,during NiGht unLimiTed..when i start downloading As Soon As i cross Some time(10-20 min)..The StAtus INDICATOR Freezes & Speed Falls to Zero/....Wat can B d ReaSon & SoluTion for This....

Please rename your thread, a title which can define your problem

your modem has changed to PPPoE mode from bridged mode. you need to change it back and turn off automatically dial option.

BSNL recommended earlier PPPoE connection for UTstar 300R2U in their webusage portal web site as a scroll message.

Bro As u Said.. I changed my connection To bridged MoDe......But Then My InTerNet Doesnt Works At Alll........

Also While Dialing d Connection using Dial-up connection.....The ERROR returned Is 678: THE Remote Computer Did Not Respond............

Yup..U Were TruE That...To Do Wat i Wanted.. i needed To change ma connection to BRIDGE MODE....which Further has two Type Of ConnecTioNs.....oUt of Them...d One With ""....LLC" worked fine for me...
