ITI DNA-A211-I router settings for wireless First of all we have to make a static ip so goto dos and type "ipconfig/all" leve this as it is Goto control panel click network and internet >then under network and sharing center click view network status and tasks, then click Manage network connections. now right click the wireless connection you connect with and goto properties. select the one with (TCP/IPV4) and click properties check "use the following ip address" in ip address put the ipv4 address which is in command prompt but change the last digit (eg: 192.168.1.2 make it 192.168.1.22) the digit you change should be between 10 to 249 put subnet mask then enter default gateway as it is in cmd thne put the DNS server which is shown in cmd, click ok and then close, your static i.p is set. Now for making it work from the router goto router page click "Advance Setup" then "NAT" then "DMZ HOST" type in the ip address you made when you changed the last digits. click apply and reboot modem. | |

Open browser and type the address http:/ /192.168.1.1 3. use the password admin 4. click on setup 5. click on PVC0 on the left hand side 6. UNDER TYPE select PPPoE 7. under user name give ur BSNL username and password 8. select apply 9. If you want to make it a secured connection ( which u shud) : go to ADVANCED and select wireless security. 10. Select WEP 11. Enable WEP secutiry 12. select a password ( it shud be a hexagonal number i.e AAAAAAAA7B) 13. Select apply again 14. goto the TOOLS tab and select 'system tool' 15. select save all 16. select restart 17. wait for a couple of minutes and u shud be online. my PC too is connected via a LAN hub. To go online on the PC I have to just switch on the LAN hub and modem. (The lan settings shud be having similiar IP settings. Don't select the same IP address, make it 192.168.1.9 - rest shub be same). hope this helps. btw I have Vista Home Laptop and Win XP home PC |
