Thread: DSL light glows but no internet connection

Hi ,

I have set my password on ppoe, no probs so far, but now the internet connection is not frequent, some times the DSL light glows constantly and there is no internet connection, sometimes when i lift the telephone receiver to dial some numbers, i get internet instantly, sometimes when i restart it works.

any idea.. plz help
mine is 500c+ from erode, tamil nadu.

Use additional ADSL splitter/s for extension/parallel phones

(B)Start RUN TYPE cmd TYPE ipconfig/all
Post details here.

(C)..In Mod (DSL page usually)
...select GDMT/T413/Glite Bitswap enabled.
....Uncheck others. and try.

u had not told the model of the modem
check the splitter connection
the main tf line should connect to splitter via yellow roster box
from splitter only the data and analog (telephone line) should be separated
the splitter cables is called RJ 15 one is connected to modem and another connected to phone ck ere any loose connection
and finally i ask u what is ur main demand pl tell me
