Thread: When call comes internet gets disconnected..

Among few problems that i am facing, one is when call comes to our land line phone internet gets disconnected ( the dsl light blinks ) and after a few seconds, it gets connected automatically

Does this happen to every one or just me??

No, this will not happen with Broadband. Unless there is a problem with the phone line. You can use Internet and Phone at the same time without any problem. Did you connected it properly ? Refer the diagram.

Well I have checked all the wires

in my home, the connection is

I have connected line of lju with wall line, adsl with router and phone with our lan phone, but when call comes internet gets disconnected ( temporarily ) for a few seconds.......( but there is a little line distortion in phone line )

May be SNR values are too low. Did you check the snr values?

Where did you connected your splitter. Is it like in the picture ?
Splitter should be the first device connected to the phone line.

Also, please specify your SNR and Attenuation values.
