There is none available even in UTSTAR web site.
They ask us to contact the ISP who suplied the modem.
    ANywayAT YOUR OWN RISK you
    can try this upate.
    if same please give feedback.

    Firmwares/UT%20STAR%20COM%20Firmware/UT_300R2_BCM_india_T2D_18_001.img
seems model is different. Please ignore.

Probably you are looking for Advanced Options
Virtual servers NAT etc. Not available in this model.

    Sound Advice !
Many users have made up their mind, that only formatting the Harddisk or
upgrading the Firmware in the modem will eliminate their internet problems.
Even this user has not spelled out the problem, and
I have guessed the usual PF problem for torrents downloads!!! could be mistaken.

thats so true.. especially the formatting hard disk part.. any small problem with a pc, and many just re install windows, without even trying to sort out the issue.. thats what most computer technicions do too.Blindly reinstall..

    Exclamation @essbebe

plzzz remove this link for upgrading ut300r2u...i tried and lost my modem...i knew jto in our exchange so i was able to replace my modem...after update my modem was unable to recieve any data, also power light was off and dsl light was permanently on[even without inserting cable]...so plzzz remove this link so that others wont try n its not very easy to deal with bsnl guys[if u dnt know any person there] to replace ur modem at once..i think u know that how much time they waste.modem cost is 1800rs so they will not replace it at their own risk.thanxxxxx anyway as i got new modem

well u know why i did this upgrade,if u forgot that plzzz goto thread[internet freezes .....] i have provided all details in picture.solutions told by other members were tried by me earlier and after every trick when i failed i posted picture as u asked me...

@superprash2003thats so true.. especially the formatting hard disk part.. any small problem with a pc, and many just re install windows, without even trying to sort out the issue.. thats what most computer technicions do too.Blindly reinstall..

well every problem in this forum is not sorted out superprash2003 so this step is just to make one more try to solve our problems....and upgrading is not same as formatting hd ...upgrade means new features, more options and i dont think everybody is now using windows98[it was fastest window with few crash percentage] but people upgraded to xp n now vista.....so i am waiting for solution and hope as u said (any small problem with a pc, and many just re install windows) its small problem ,i will soon get solution from u....instead of posting here so quickly,u shoud visit the other thread [internet freezes....] and see what is really my problem...

well dont mind that as i am expecting a solution 4rm senior members of this forum rather than a coooool advice

well you have a reason, to upgrade.. some internet freezing issue as you said.. so its justified.. although firmware upgrade is the last step.. if you screw up your win98 upgrade you could move back to win 98.. if you screw up firmware upgrade, your modem becomes a dummy..
i havent seen your thread.. somehow missed it.. will surely put in something if possible by me..

    @member/ravikang
My post is perfectly in order
.You were told AT YOUR OWN RISK
Still you tried it . The FW is from an ISP ( AIRTEL) web site.
Now you got the new modem luckily.
and still having the same problem "Freezing"
Post the Device status. To check any change in FW.
I won't post any more comments on this thread.

    @superprash2003 and other experienced users.
UT300R2U Advanced Options Virtual server etc .
    TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK

    ID: 96338L-2M-8M
    Software Version: 3.00L.03.A2pB017l.d15h
    Bootloader (CFE) Version: 1.0.37-0.7

From FW version from Beetel site.
    http://www.beetelmodems.com/download...T28-0q-003.zip 1.75MB

    REtained Advanced options
Virtual servers Port forwarding etc in Beetel110BX1 modem.

As Board ID and Bootloader (CFE) version tallies. for UT300R2U
Any one can tryAT THEIR OWN RISK !.

Para two : I applied a beetel upgrade tool application
( do not remember the web site from where I downloaded this !)
and lost the latest FW for my 110BX1.
    Firmware_3.12L.01.A2pB023k.d20k_rc2

Took barely one minute to change the FW in FTP mode !
All OK except Client TR_069 missing.. SNR in GDMT is good.
Instead of BEETEL Logo it shows ADSL Modem now for me !

@ravikang: You got a later version.
I cannot edit and remove the post.
    Wait Updating.

    @superprash2003
Please confirm that the update is from my own
    directory.
Then I have to post the the latest FW
in same Directory to restore status quo!
This will be the best method to update /degrade FW!!!!!!!

    Update 0837Am 13th november
Please wait : I will try to UPGD to original FW and confirm
and also upload the application. little busy and
will take two or three days for full testing.
sorry for delay in giving more feedback.
It has got Language selection too!

Now you may not try again and if it fails,
BSNL will not help you one more time !.!!!!

Please confirm that in Advanced options
you get Virtual servers/Port forwarding etc.
( with this Firmware version ).

Thanks to your/this thread and discussions ,
I could now use a simple tool to UPGD and DWGD
    FW for my modem.
Airtel will also replace the modem for me If it becomes DUD!!!
