Rep Power: 4   |  Absolutely NO you dont need to buy anything as the wi-fi's modem from BSNL are modem with integrated wi-fi |

Rep Power: 2 | Thanks Good to know thanks   I had asked for type 4 modem in my application to BSNL. I was told that type 4 is out of stock and I will be given type 2 . At that time I wasn't aware of the difference b/w type 2 and type 4. Y'day I was given broadband connection and noticed that modem has 4 ethernet ports. Isn't it type 4 modem. It looks like I have to pay 1,800/= instead of 1,200/=. I dont think i need 4 ports.  Probably type 2 should have suffice. Wonder why they gave me this.
