Thread: Su/mu

In this thread of BSNL tariff link , there is SU/MU option. What does it stand for.

SU - Single User
Mu - Multiple Users

SU means Single User and MU means Multi User.

ummh..does it mean that multiple computers cannot connect ? My modem has 4 ports. cant I connect 4 computers

You don't need 'MU' for connecting multiple computes. You can share the connection among computers. Only problem will be the speed will split in to 4. So if you have a 256 KB connection the speed will be 256/4 for each computer.
MU option is only available in Business plan 3000, 5000 and 9000.
