    Unhappy setting up broadband in win vista

    hi all,
    am trying to setup my broadband connection in windows vista. modem i received from bsnl is a type ii make - iti, model DNA-A211-I. i have gone through varios threads in the forum nothing seems to be working. the connection shows limited connectivity. help!

    @topic have you checked your wireless setting on router, can you please post what setting you are using in wireless options page.

    do try this once, it may help you

    Network Name (SSID) alpha-numeric like wireless111 or something like that
    Channel number: 11
    Security encryption: WPA-PSK
    Encryption Key: anything123 (should be more than 8 chracters and alpha-numeric)

    Confirm you are able to connect, using the LANport.

    Seems Same like Beetel 440 BX or 450 BX.

    Disable IPV6 in TCP/IP properties.
    Post Ipconfig/all data.
    Start RUn type cmd Type ipconfig/all ( XP pro Sp2 commands)
    Are you using Dialer Mode ?

    the connection shows limited connectivity.
    Does a Wireless Network appear when you select
    " Show all Network connections"
    in Control Panel "Network "?

    Hello me too cannot connect to vista laptop. Iam using UTSTARCOM WA3002G4 ADSL2+ modem. LAN is working excelent but unable to connect to wireless on vista laptop. And not even able to access 192.168.1.1 the router's configuration site. Please help me. :helpsmilie::helpsmilie: :helpsmilie::helpsmilie: :helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

    do you see your wifi router under the available networks window?

    yes i can see the networ but when i tried to connect it says limited or no connection.

    this could be an ip problem.. go to the command prompt(start->run and type cmd) and post output of ipconfig
