You can go for BSNL or Asianet (via cable).

BSNL says they need 1-2 months time for installation...Asianet broadband is not yet there in kannur...How about tataindicom? Is it good?

BSNL is the best if you can get it.
I am not sure about Tataindicom service. The tariff seems to be similar to BSNL Tata Indicom: Kannur

I was talking about TATA indicom Broadband. I don't think WIMAX is available in Kannur.

The best broadband service provider in Kerala is undoubtedly BSNL and the best plan for most of the people is Combo 500.
