Thread: BSNL Billing

I am having 500C plan. Just want to know how exactly billing is done by BSNL. Is it on prorata basis? my connection has started on 15th so does that mean my free usage is reduced to half for this month?

I will tell u what happened to me as an example........
my connection was activated on 19th september on my existing phone line. Since we dont use the land line, my billing 4 sep was like this.........
telephone fixed charge ~130 /-
tax ~38 /-
broadband ~200 /- ....................total ~360/-
they will divide 500 with no of days in the month and multiply it with the no of days u used bb. ur free download limit will also get smaller.
So, the first month, dont use BB too much to avoid large bill.

500c plan mean free usage 1.5 GB or 1.5*1024=1536 MB Now plan started at 15th mean (if month is 30 days then) 1536/30= 51.2 MB *15(remaining day of month)=768 MB free usage for first month and
rental of first month 500/30*15=250 Rs
In spite of all this calculation for my case my activation day 6th day of the month but they not given any usage charge for that month for that month officially my free usage is 2560 MB/31 x 26 =2147 MB(approx) but my usage is 2231 MB(approx) but no usage charge is taken they given free extra 84 MB in my Home 500 plan but rental taken
(500/30)*26=433 Rs( I don't no why the not divided by 31 because month in 31 days)

i have managed to clock 250 mb in two days ...
