Thread: BSNL Siemens modem power

I have a siemens C2110 modem provided by bsnl a few months ago. Of late, at times, the modem just doesnt power on. I thought it was dead but the next day it starts working again! Sometimes it goes off on it's own and mostly if I power it off once, it wont start again until the next day when it powers on like normal.
So it's not technically dead but there's no guarantee it'll work when I want it to. Have anyone heard of this before? Something heats up inside and then it needs rest ? I dont want to buy a new modem every few months

Check the power supply adapter or change it.

Why don't you get it replaced from BSNL ? As you said it is provided to you by BSNL.

Anyway yester day they replaced the modem(Its a rented one).Now everything seems to be working.

BSNL may replace both Adapter and modem/router within a year, if purchased outright. Since it is in working condition, BSNL can test and replace, if they wish.
