Thread: bsnl broadband connection down

From today morning that is from 19/11/2008, the net is down. Even their usage site also is down. what about you people.

BSNL net has been down for me since yesterday night.

Same goes here.. 'am unable to access internet since morning

There's some issue going with authentication I belive.

When I checked the activity logs in my router[ZYXEL], I was able to make that the password has been authenticated by the server but the sessions gets terminated immediateley and due to which the ip allotment is not happening and we're unable to access the internet.

My connection went down yesterday night (technically today morning around 1.30 AM)

I disconnected and rebooted the machine/modem but didn't work.

Initially I got the "Error 691" - "username and password not valid on this domain".

Then after some attempts the message changed to "718 error" - "Remote computer did not respond within an appropriate time".

Anyone getting similar error messages?

Same for me. From last two days, it is working intermittently. The 'DSL' LED is up but 'Internet' LED is down.

Yeah even in Hyderabad it was down from morning, but I guess it was partially down as some parts in the city it was working.

Now it had started working!

yesterday night at first server reply 691 error(my password is correct that time) and after that 718 error for whole day now connection is fine

in the morning to 5pm the server ws down...now its up n going.......

in kolkata, its up and running now.

net connection is up here in maharashtra too.......
but a/c usage check site, ht tp: // bbservice.bsnl.in/ , is still down.....

shows the following error:

working for me. But in fits and starts.

today also the bsnl servers r just connecting n disconnecting by thmselves...but my vuze client keeps going.......

my connection was also down on 19th but in the evening it was up and running. But now the speeds have really gone down. Earlier i used to download at speed between 150 - 200 KBps but now it has come down to around 50 KBps only.
Is anyone else also experiencing this ?

just about half an hour before i was not able to connect error 691 user/password incorrect.
but now it seems to work fine.

I got this problem today evening. I tried many times but I couldn't access internet till now.

No I haven't. I though it will be a problem in Bangalore like before.

the problem few days ago was felt in every major cities.......
nothin happened here today though. u better check with local cc.

i am from bangalore,indra nagar ,internet is working well

but speeds r all time low during night unlimited,daytime its around 2mb

bsnl broadband is becoming crappier day by day

night unlimited speed is 32kbps,i am just fed up of complaining to these idiots

i am gonna dump this bsnl connection soon ,these stupid people cant provide consistent speeds and they r promosing free brodband for everyone
