    Default Error Opening Data Socket

    Hi
    recently we have taken BSNL broadband for our office. we are using Nokia Siemens SL2_141.

    i have configure it as PPOE mode, so that others user can access internet.
    everything is working fine except cute frp.

    after connecting to ftp site its giving an error message Error Opening Data Socket.

    please help.

    try connecting to the ftp site via telnet from your command prompt..

    You can use smart ftp for uploading and downloading data from ftp site

    It is a software to brows and download from ftp sites. thats all.

    see similar page access control and check services you need.

    If your OS is VISTA , telnet is disabled by default. Confirm.
    You have to activate it .
