Unhappy ZTE Modem Problem, User name & password disappearing

I am having problem with my ZTE modem which BSNL has provided me, I have configured the modem with PPOE (Always On) connection, But if the modem restarts/shutdown (Due to power fluctuation) twice or thrice then i have to connect my modem once again by entering the BSNL user name & password.
Now my question/problem is that if i have configured the connection to always remain on then why after restating the modem i have to again give my BSNL user name & password in the modem configuration.
Is there something wrong with my BSNL modem, Kindly help me

Google search " username not saved in modem "

    ZTE ZXDSL 831

    See last sentence and try.

After done all that don’t forget to Click on Admin tab and then Commit and Reboot. Make sure to click Commit then Reboot.

    In my ZXDSL 831AII modem, i don't have Admin>commit & reboot option.

I also have problem viewing websites, Whenever i connect to any website, most of the time that website crashes every 1-2 minutes. For that i have to keep refreshing the page

    Else
Try "Bridged " mode in WAN page SAVE REBOOT.
    wait for two minutes.
Use a Dialer to connect ( enterUserId and Password).

Modem :Post screen shot of Device status page,
    and page showing SNR/ATTN etc.

    New Problem
    website crashes every 1-2 minutes
    Probably memory problem.
    Keep running applications to minimum.

    Dear essbee,
First of all thanx for helping me out
I have checked ur url & all of the settings are ok as per the url.
2nd thing regarding my website crashing, I am using Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4.
Let me tell u one more thing I am having 2 modems
    1 Linksys WAG200g
    2. BSNL's ZTE.
When i connect through ZTE modem, at that time my websites crash most often, but when i connect through Linksys Wag 200G, all my websites are running in normal mode & they don't crash at that time.

The only problem with my Linksys WAG 200g modem is that it takes a long time to detect the Link signal & most of the times my Broadband sugnal in Linksys modem fluctuates a lot.
Hope i am not confusing u people by putting n no. of problems in single post, Sorry for that

How in Bridge Mode your ID and PW will disappear from the Modem ?!!!
You enter it in the Dialer, after selecting "Bridged" mode.

Websites crashing : you mean the internet Connection is Lost ?
You have to dial again ?

Change Browser to FireFox 3.0.4 and try.

In bridge, I have not given username & password in modem.. I have given that one in dialer & in dialer it doesn't disappear at all.

    Unhappy Wierd Problem

I am using a ZTE 831 ADSL modem for BB connection.
The problem is,when I connect some other Ethernet cable to my laptop
my LAN shows connected status, but as soon as I connect the ADSL modem
via Ethernet port, the LAN shows Cable is Unplugged.

I also checked whether there is some problem with the Ethernet Cable itself
But even after changing that,I didn't succeed in Connecting my modem.

At the time of connecting the modem all DSL,Internet,USB port LED's start
Flashing and they remain like that only even if I remove my ethernet/Phone line.

The problem is annoying me too much, and I am also not getting any help either.

I also have checked changing the modem and the result is same?

    Plz help
