http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...html#post70658 (help setting up ftp server)

You can enable UpnP devices in modem page.

DDNS option not available. in your modem.
Normally should appear
under Advanced : DNS & DDNS

YOU can take a RISK and use beetel220BX old FW
to get DDNS option.
I tried FW upd and landed with old FW!
Again updated with latest .
Post Device status screen shot to check whether you have old or
Bsnl supplied new model.

Sorry. I cannot advise you to Update the
Firmware with latest Beetel 110BX1 FW
version., even though it can be tried..

My 110BX1 Beetel Modem with DDNS
Board ID: 96338L-2M-8M
Software Version: 3.12L.01.A2pB023k.d20k_rc2
Bootloader (CFE) Version: 1.0.37-12.1

Compare with your modem .
Post screen shot of Device status.
For reference ( Not mine )

Objective: to Incorporate DDNS option in UT300R2U.

Please see my post again..
For Firmware update I check three parameters.
.....................................UT300R2U(BSNL )..................Beetel 110BX1
BoardID ------------------=============same =============
Software version=======different =============== different
Bootloader(CFE) version == version 1.0.37.10............ Version: 1.0.37-12.1

Now as I am not familiar with LINUX,
even if the BL(CFE) version is almost same
say 1.0.37-xx-xx , I thought we can
upgrade the FW.

As I am not sure, and I don't
know thread starter's expertise, I gave a warning.
If something goes wrong ,
the modem could become useless.

Your advice in this matter will be most welcome.

well technically speaking it is not adviced to use another modem's fw updates on another modem. I have done a FW upgrade only once , that too on a netgear router long back.So i dont have hands on experience.. So i too am not that experienced to say anything regarding this.Hopefully other members who know about it would shed some light on this issue..
@threadstarter
do you want this for your webserver??

PS : Why isnt today's posts or threads showing as "Today" or yesterday's posts showing as "Yesterday" .It shows the full date in numerical form..
