Yes Broadband speed is good here. The Customer Care service is not bad either.

Same for me. But the total speed was low. Torrent speed was maximum 80 KBps and Direct downloading (Rapidshare) speed was upto 35 KBps.

I dont agree with you harshytkage as i live in the so called the most hyped city which is Bangalore and to be true and honest regarding BSNL is truly and absolutely horrible and piece of ****

I applied for a BSNL landline connection monthssss back and still didnt recieved the connection so i left that and i applied for Airtel BB and got the connection within 2 days!

Now coming to the main topic

For a 256 Kbps line you will never get speeds above 32 KB/s and in case and by chance somehow just somehow you got more than that then consider yourself lucky!!!

Changing the DNS won't improve the downloading speed.
