Thread: Still havent got my bsnl connection, WHY??

I have applied for a Dataone connection in April, and i still haven't got my connection yet, why so? i thought minimum waiting time was 4 months!!

Is there anyone from Vasai, Thane Dist. (401202) Mumbai........can someone please help me out in this matter
I keep calling them and they say to wait for another 2 months every time i call.

I think you should to some higher grade officer may be he will help otherwise you cant do anything except waiting

Try contacting the internet section officer, I think he can answer your questions.

for bsnl connections u need to have a special effort like visiting the bsnl office and talking to the officials

i advise you to contact your area manager in ur nearest bsnl exchange ,if he doesnt do anything contact his superior

4 months is too long,even if they t wiring your area or adding ports

Make a brief complaint on line. Give telephone number with STD Code etc.

they say that they dont have recruitment, what the hell does that mean?
i feel that these people here are not taking much interest in their customers

It depends upon availability of connection. I opted for a Land line connection. At that time our local exchange does not have the capacity to give connection. tha is why I have to wait for 2 years. But for broadband, I applied for it on 27 - 04 - 2008 and got the connection on 29 - 04 - 2008. Beacuse available ports were there in our exchange. So my suggesstion is that, please go to the exchange and mannually confirm the reason behind the delay. In our place, the local BSNL customer care is very good.

see i also from vasai,i had to wait for 12 monthsi.e a year for bsnl bb service...

and the patience i showed in bsnl really showed up.....by getting me speeds upto 2Mbps which i never imagined of in vasai...

so keep patience....

i have gone 3 times to the office.. 1st they told there are no modems available, then they said diwali time it will be done ... and last time they told from feb 21st all connections are pending and in december they will start...

i stay in vasai(w). can someone help??

I live in Kalyan (W) and I have applied for bb in Feb 2008, after so many complaints nothing has happened untill this december. As specified in one of the reply to this post I have complaint to pgmd_mah@bsnl.co.in too. Also I have logged a complaint through on line poral. But the result is nothing untill december. Now the modem in installed but the person suppose to set up the same says they used to setup in XP not Vista!!! so he needs a confirmation from his office. I have tested the same under linux I don't use Windows. I have Vista as the system came with a preloaded one.

Now I am awaiting for the userid and password. I understood all the way that I have to wait in case of dealing with state owned organisations and have no other options.

i too have tried many times, and i have got the same reply as u did
1] First Time i called, They said after Diwali
2] I called after diwali, they said they have no recruitment......it will be done in december....
3] I Called 2 days back they said to wait for another 2 months

im getting bugged with them, and im really fed up.............now i feel like going for reliance

reliance sucks... i think it has no night unlimited plans.. and even it has it very expensive.. i m gonna wait for 2 more months for bsnl and if doesnt arrive i will quit.
by the way where do u stay in vasai?

Calling wont help. Directly talk to a higher designated BSNL guy. Good Luck. Its the only problem with BSNL customer support. And why on earth would you wait for 2 months to get bsnl BB connection ? It should be given out within a week or two.
