Smile Iam (750 UL Plus or 500 C+) the Best Plan

    :45: Iam (750 UL Plus or 500 C+) the Best Plan :45:

750 UL Plus & 500 C + are the two most popular plans from BSNL Broadband (Dataone). Many times people are confused to choose which plan. Both the plans have their own advantages & disadvantages. One thing common in both the plan is that the phone rental is zero.

The advantages in the 750 UL plan is that you have got unlimited download limit, no need to worry about the bill, you can browse anytime without worrying about crossing the download limit. But one disadvantage is that you got to be satisfied with 256 Kbps speed. The download speed is around 28~ 36 kB/sec.

Where as in the 500 C+ plan, the speed is good (up to 2 Mbps) & the download speed is around 180 ~ 240 kB/sec. The download limit is limited to 2.5 GB & you have also unlimited download during 2 AM to 8 AM.

Both these plans are good. People before choosing any plan must know what their requirement is. It’s simple,
If speed is your main concern & ready to sacrifice the sleep then go for the 500 C+ plan.
If speed is not your main concern then go for 750 UL Plus plan.

You can avoid sacrificing sleep by using software’s/methods through which you can reboot the modem accordingly in the night to make use of the night unlimited. If you are aware of how to use those software then no hassles. If not then you have to pay a huge bill.

I am using 750 UL Plus plan. The reason why I opted for this plan is that I’m not bothered about the speed. I mainly surf, download movies, mp3s & softwares. A 700 Mb movies takes around 7~8 hours to download & I’m in no hurry. I get time only in the weekend to watch movies. So I put the movies to download during the weekdays & I download up to 2~3 movies a week Even the surfing speed is good. & I can browse any time without worrying about the download limit.

The reason why I dint opt for the 500 C+ Plan is that I wont be able to surf for long hours, there will be a restriction as the download limit as it is limited.

People using the 500 C+ plan:
Why did you choose this plan & not the 750 UL Plus plan?

dude i dont agree with 750+plan.....the speed is just 25-30kbs....whn dwnlding literally gbs of data(movies,,serials,,and anything under the sun) the speed sucks.......whn i was on reliance prepaid broadnet i was on the max speed of 384 kbs...or u can say 32-35 kbs....i ws downed by the money paid to the speed which i got.......
it ws basically paying 40 bucks per day n getting 35kbps n now i m on bsnl home 1350+which gives me a speed of 55-60kbps on addition of just 10 bucks more per day.i.e50bucks.......
so i wud rather suggest home 1350+ thn home 750+...if u wanna go for unlimited......

May be when compared to your previous plan, 1350 UL plus plan may be feasible.
But not many people would go for the 1350 UL Plus plan because of the cost factor.

dude k u hv a pt with the cost factor but i m not inclined to think tht any person who is dwlding Tbs of data will hardly see this pt since craving for the coccaine never stops on its cost it only ends whn u die....

also the fact tht hard net users usally find a way to fund their net habits...since i do come in tht situation often but even if i skip to pay my college fees i usually end up paying my net bill on time........

If people who want to download Tbs of data, can then go for the 500 C+ plan. They can save time & cost given that they know how to use those softwares which helps in rebooting the modem in the during the unlimited download period.

at most with 500 c+ plan approx 5gbs of data cud be dwnlded per day i.e monthly 150 gbs......tht hardly satisfies the TBs need......once the craving increases the dependent only wishes to fulfil his craving by any means........n in home UL 1350+ my dwnld goes to 6-7 gbs.....i.e 180-210gbs.....plus no tension of waking or rebooting of modems......
And yes the above is just my experience the survey in general may or may never match it...so its pointless arguing.......only thing which defers here is personel dwnlding experiences........
the fact in general can also never be conclusive since speed at different nodes vary frm place to place....maybe in night 500 plan u cud be able to dwnld 10gbs while i on the other hand wud only go till 5gbs.....so ur conclusion is inconclusive,,which basically misconcludes the inconclusive conclusion....

Choice of plan depends upon the requirement. One which is suitable to one may not be for the other. As per my personal opinion 500+ is the winner. It is the best Value for money plan.

    H-500 C+
+ autopower on and shutdown (or wosb and windows scheduler)
    + IDM
+ Azureus with speedscheduler OR utorrent
    + imacros
    + (e)lephant or RS premium
    + workspace macros
    = ultimate download experience

UL plan cannot come close to that. That's my personal opinion.

Apart from H-500 C+.. there are various other dependent factors to get the ultimate download experience. Only if those factors are satisfied you would get the ultimate download experience. How many of the 500-C+ users are able to satisfy those factors?

500 plan is best, its save power and also u can download big files

if u can schedule the downloads, then u can download as much u want for a fee of rs 500

if u have rapid share or any famous file sharing premium account ,then its Christmas for you

i hope they increase h500 speed to 8 mb,i am sure most of the ul users will switch to this planand i will buy the 1 tb hard drive

People think that 750 UL plus users have their PC turned on 24 hrs a day. Thats not the truth.
On a average my PC is on for around 4 hrs during weekdays & 10 hours during the weekend.Iam a 750 UL plan user.
Can any 500 C+ user tell how much hrs is their PC on during a day?

as i hv said bfore its ur personel reqiurement which decides the plan as well as the speed at the node which alter the person's perception towards the data being dwnled at the paticular pt of time......it is like levels of craving in an coccaine addict....ur coccaine dose only depends upo ur tolerance level for taking it...the higher ur tolerance level the more amt of coccine is needed to satisfy.......

there also very gud underlined reason for ppl to pick up home 500+ as their most favourable dwnld plan as between 2-8 am the line turns out 2mbps...but here is the catch the more the traffic at tht time the less speed u get at tht time since the bb committment says approx 2mbps n not exactly 2 mbps........but in unlimited plans u cud cut their head out if thy dont give the reqisite speed at a given pt of time ........n home 1350+ gives a decent speed od 55-60kbps .......so its k for a medium dwnlder .......

Iam looking forward that BSNL will increase the speed limit of the unlimited plan next year.Speed of 750 UL plan should be increased to upto 512 Kbps & that of 1350 UL plan to upto 1 Mbps.Even the small increase in the speed limit is a bonus.

ramesh jee on the other hand you will be saving the power and increasing the life of laptop/pc/router

so 1350 is not so much, considering the fact we used to pay 900 for ul when it was introuduced, but i know for students its a bit high,

i think its best plan for the people who r average downloaders and who do online gaming

i wanna see 8mb speed for 500 plan in future, maybe next year ,then i wud say bsnl is best

I'm working & I myself feel 1350 is a bit much. When you are working you become more cost conscious.I'm happy with with my current plan (750 UL). May be in future if the there is no change in the tariff then I may go for 1350 UL plan.If there is no increase in the speed, even a decrease in the rent will do..Like if 1350 plans come down to 1000...

8 Mbps for Rs 500 is hard to imagine...

its natural whn u r paying the bill ...even myself paying it find it too hard....but the fact u take out the juice n every pie of the penny u spent gets used thn its worth the price......

man imaginitation cud be expanded to 80 mbps @ 500 bucks.......my pt is imagination n reality r two different things.......k wht the person said for 8 mbps cud be achievable by say 3 yrs or so but till next yr it cud be rather difficult.....
