    Thumbs down BSNL Broadband sucks since last few days

    Hello,

    Since last few days bsnl broadband sever is down.

    Its really F******

    now I need to switch my internet provider.

    I am thinking of Tata.

    anyone as idea whats good provider for Gujarat.

    BSNL is really bad since november 2008 month.

    Yes i do agree to you.BSNL service these days really sucks.My service is out of order for the last 10 days. I am using the 750 UL + plan. I have a Nokia Siemens C2110 and a Dlink GLB 520T modem. and i am not able to connect and getting error 678. i have reported the problem numerous times and have docketed the issue but to no avail. i have called the GM of bsnl and escalated the issue but to no avail. the service is really damm fuc*****.

    the last few days bsnl bb ws down .......i tht there might be some probs n i shud throw it but its better thn alot of services like reliance which went down for approx a week n the customer care ws a slurpy gp of morons not knowing anything......

    dear "desktop07" at first you must to the local exchange and contact with DE internal and do not come home until you get any satisfied answer at first invite exchange person to come home to see the proper condition if they say they are helpless that mean line is ok form exchange point of view then you talk DE/BB-1 or DGM broadband and they will say "we are looking the matter" further you will ask 10 days already past BB is out of order then "who will solve my problem?How it will be solve".I think within a few days your problem will be solved I still think 678 error can be solve local exchange also
    whatever I have several problem in my Broadband so many times I have contact to calcuttatelephones officer I know this process is slow but it will be solved if you contact day by day.

    contact the divisional engineer if he doesnt do anything,contact area manager,if he doesnt ,then contact his superior, if he also doent act ,all u have to do is pray to god,

    bsnl is the best broadband when it is on and you r getting good speeds

    once the speed is low and the connection is down,the problems starts and u feel helpless

    u need to figure out whether the connection is down at your end or at the bsnl exhchange (coz i am using bsnl broadband for 2 1/2 years and if connection is down at the exchange, it was always rectified )


    if its at the exchange,then talk rudely until they rectify ur connection,coz u are paying monthly charge for ur broadband

    if its at the home ,then contact any local electrician and made it done,if the bsnl linesman doesnt come to your house

    Everybody is telling about bad customer care of BSNL. Who is responsible for that??? I think we people are responsible for that. We are not taking the matter seriously and thats why these things are happening. In My place the Customer care of our local exchange is verymuch good and that is not because of me but for the good relationship of local peole with BSNL. They are helping us when we need.

    most of the times DNS are out of service, so I was using Open DNS
    208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220,

    but in this november month they have crossed their limit,

    they keep their server down, on nights, saturdays and sundays these, really sucks............

    sometimes even we can ping the IPs, but cant surfing........and last week internet was working but speed was slower then the dial up connection,

    downloading speed was in 64 bps, not even in kbps (rofl)

    what we can say, BSNL now other then (bye)

    bsnl has gone down ,since daynadhi maran resigned,

    atleast they shud have replaced a better man than raja

    already raja is acussed of some spectrum scam

    dont know about other city but in ahmedabad i have never faced any problem with bsnl. i m using H750 & I have downloaded all new games cod5,tru etc. @ maximum speed @ this month.

    & yes customer care is very bad.

    the problem is that i have contacted every possible person.whether de internal or external.gm and cgm.i have not left any stone unturned but these people doesnt seem to take care. i dont know what to do now. perhaps you people can help me a bit.

    This month especially after the bonus usage is announced, BSNL has not been working properly. the log-in would be proper. Within two minutes, the connection would be down. If we reset the modem, it may/may not work. This has been going on during the last one month. Previously I was very happy with the service. I hope after november 2008, everything would be back to normal.

    well if its the case,then threaten then u will terminate your services with them and look for another broadband like airtel

    hey anyone experiencing on n off like situation with bsnl 1350 plan.......the net is coming for lets say 20 mins n thn it automatically resets itself........

    Do you contact to the calcutta telephones head office just go there and contact DGM of Braodband and clearly ask that "when my connection will be resume and ask them how much I will tolerate" He will tell you that it will be fine within couple of days and then you must talk to the local exchange.You have no option friend you have to contact with them day by day.Just contact with them every day with physical appearance or by telephone.

    lol i favour bsnl & my connection gone.

    it is automatic disconnect @ 20 mins interval.even some1 call. there is lots of disurbance sound on receiver. any1 know solution? plzzzzzzzzz

    if the wires are properly connected ( main->splitter->>modem/phone ) and still u hear those noises at the phone end, the problem is with ur line. Call customer care take D.no and go to local exchange. Someone will come and check/fix the line for u.
