Unhappy Wrong Usage (without Splitting) Billed for H500c

I am using H500c plan. I usually download lots of gbs per month using the night unlimited hours efficiently with utorrent and Auto Power-on & shutdown software. On nov 2, I downloaded nearly 80mb during 10 to 11 pm. Then my scheduled utorrent seeded during 2 to 7am next day. Now they billed from 10 pm to 7am without splitting the free usage for 2 to 8 am.

What do I do now?

My bandwidth meter shows only 1567MB.

My Bsnl always shows more usage than this. Suggest me a nice bandwidth meter.

Pls quickly cater to my two requests.

For Nov 2008 double D/L allowed as Diwali Bonus.
( If you were using BB connection for past six months )
For 500C+ it will be 2.5 GB doubled to 5 GB.


In future ALWAYS ensure you switch OFF the modem
around 0155AMand restart Modem at about 0205.
and again switch off at 0755 AM
to avoid these kind of metering

Appears you were keeping the system Continously on
and programmed some down load after 2 AM. with a scheduler.

Shaplus meter reading is only for self check.I think it does
not count Uploads. ( will check and confirm later ).

Somedays you might have forgotten to load it .
Presume you have used settings to exclude 0200 -0800 NU.
Check the time set.
Try Tautology Bandwidth Meter .

after you receive the bill.just ensure whether overcharge for the usage is added. then take a printout of the complete usage history of that particular month(don't take the particular page only).then go to your local exchange and meet the bill in - charge and show your usage history and explain him the time and that they made the miscalculation.
he will ask you write a letter and the usage history.
he will do the favor but it takes time more than a month.


because i had experienced this like of problems.

then next thing is sha meter is fine and it will calculate the upload as well as download.
so it is trustworthy but only a reference.
As one of the user said please switch off the modem and back it on while using continue in happy hours

its true(the bsnl server there, might sleep,we make it alarm by switching off and on the modem.......)
