    Default Excess billing in combo plan

    Hi
    i use bsnl broadband from the last 2 months, its combo plan (phone + bb), first time a bill came of about, 1009 Rs. its written

    SURCHARGE 40 RS
    DEBITS 1009

    GRAOSS AMOUNT 1009.00

    i paid that bill, but now in the second month, its 2400 rs,

    SURCHARGE --RS
    DEBITS 1633
    SERVICE TZX 149
    GROSS AMOUNT 2400

    i am sure that i did not use much this month. But i have downloaded a lot in the free hours, ie 2 am to 8 am, This is the second time having bills like this.

    Anybody has similiar problems there?? I rarely use the landphone so its not billed from that..Plz help me

    If you are sure that you have downloaded most during 2 AM -8 Am & if you have any supporting evidence for that.Then make a complaint to your nearest BSNL CC or exchange.

    If you want to get rid of these billing head aches then shift to unmilited plans.

    When you download during the happy hours (2 AM to 8 AM), you need to reboot the modem at 2 AM and 8 AM. Else everything is counted as chargeable. Please see these two articles:

    PLease CLarify the bill from your Portal. and if everything is normal in your Portal then make a complain to BSNL
