Default Linksys not dialing c2110

I got my BSNL broadband (unlimited plan) today and had got the Siemens C2110 modem . I also have a Linksys WRT54G router and wanted it to dial and stay connected so that I can access internet over wifi on my laptop. Now the C2110 works fine if I connect directly via ethernet cable. The Router also works independently. The problem comes when I try to make them work together.

I set the username password under PPPoE in linksys setup, went to status and tried connecting. But it does not connect, after 4-5 page refresh it says it cannot connect. :/

How do I get it to dial and connect ?

you have to set modem in bridge mode & router in pppoe mode i think.by default nokia siemens c2110 is set in pppoe mode as far as i know by bsnl people.also range should be different for both modem & router.e.g.home page of modem is 192.168.1.1 then home page of router should be 192.168.0.1.check out the guide for setting UT300R2U with WRT45 in the sticky posts of this forum for details.
