Thread: 250 kbps download speed on UL 750

hi

My old plan was Home 250 and i applied for plan change on 24 Nov 2008.applied for UL 750

on 1 dec i checked portal n i found that its showing UL 750 and STATUS as OPEN.

so as of now am i in UL plan ?? cauz m still getting high download speed of 250 which i use to get when i was in home 250.

plz help and guide me as i want to start my Download rampage

Seems like we have similar problem. I changed my data plan from Home 750 ul to Home 500 C+. It says in the portal that it's Home 500 C+ now. But I am getting the same speed as Home 750 ul. I decided to wait a day before complaining to Customer Care.

CC of BSNL is useless unless and until u talk in harsh words...

well.. dont experiment, you have no other go other than asking CC

just now i called CC n they told that their system is still showing that i am in home 250 plan.

and one more good news that they have offered 1 GB extra for 6 months old customers and hence i got 2 GB for month of DEC.

so 2marow i will go to BSNL office in my locality and will check the status.

The Order Status should be "Provisioned". May be it will take multiple steps to change a plan. I think that's why it still have the same speed as the previous plan.

again i called BSNL n aksed them abt my current plan......they told that now i am in UL 750 n can download unlimited....hahahh and when i asked about if he is sure then he told that contact u r BSNL office.

when i asked CC abt Order Status , he told provisioned means limited and Open means unlimited.

Yes I agree with Archer, Your Plan should be provisioned. If your status showing Open then wait and see what is happening. It may be changed to 'future dated' and then it will be 'provisioned'.

yup, call cc tomorrow and find out about it. it only a matter of time now archie.

as far as i know "open" status means your request is in queue,"future dated" means request is scheduled for a future date & "provisioned" means your request has been finalised.

PS. The avatar is from Fate/Stay Night. Character Archer is from the same Anime.

i knew that i have seen this character somewhere.fate/stay night is a good anime i think.i have about 800GB(~250 series i think never counted) anime but till now i have seen only 10-15 series so i often get confused.most ironic part about this huge collection of mine is that when i was in IIT doing my engineering i had access to 34mbps connection so i managed to download this much in only 2 months(despite various restrictions both technical & human) but due to this same very reason i never got the time to watch much anime.after graduation till now again i haven't been able to get much time.

it has to be provisioned and only then ur plan will change. ur screen shot shows it as open so u have to wait till it shows as provisioned

I gave a call to Customer Care and they said my plan will be Provisioned tommorrow.

dude you are lucky....lets hope mine also gets Provisoned. Today i had visited BSNL office and officer confirmed that i am now in new billing cycle of UL 750. when asked him about order status of OPEN, he told it doesn't matters.

i then told him about huge billing exp of customers , then he said wait for 2 more days.

even CC confirmed that now i am in new billing cycle but he too was not aware of ORDER STATUS enumeration.

do update here if u r plan is changed by tomorrow

I don't know about that, now my plan status changed to Future Dated. Hope it's good.

Mine is also showing the same thing today...

I contacted Customer Care today evening and they told me not to use internet for 2 days because it will take time for plan to be Provisioned in Bangalore. I will update if my plan changes some day.

mine is still OPEN. when did you apply?

I applied for plan change on November 15th.

Good news is my plan is Provisioned now.

mine too got changed to provisioned. i hope i too face same problem of speed as you are facing.

Why don't you check speed now ?
