Thread: Hope this isn't my Nov bill!

Just posting a screenshot of the November usage (everyone else also do the same). The software of course, calculated it as the usual 500 Rs. plan, but if this turns out to be the real bill, I'll die!

we cant predict bsnl. you can even get more.so wait and watch. and let us know,after you receive the bill.

yeah, if u hadnt switched the net off at 2.00am, u may get a much bigger bill.

Oh c'mon, everyone knows about the double usage scheme for November. I had called and confirmed before I started downloading. The scheme, if I remember correctly, was that you should have been a Dataone user for atleast six months; BSNL keeps logs uptill one year old, so I checked last year's last log (December 2007), and found that I had the Rs. 500 scheme even then (by looking at the volume I had downloaded). Earlier I had the Rs. 250 scheme, but I changed to Rs. 500 and that's more than a year ago.

All I am saying now is that if BSNL messes up and forgets the double usage scheme, this is the probable bill I'll get.

From what site did you get the bill in that format?

But assuming that you used 5029.35 MB on your Home 500 plan, you will get 5 GB of free usage for Nov, 08, which is 5120 MB.

But this is on the further assumption that you were a BSNL BB user for the last six months preceding. So long as this condition is met, you can relax as you will not be charged for extra usage.

But I am curious to know. Did you deliberately download a lot during the day also?

Its not any site, its the small software DUF (Dataone Usage Finder).

And yes, I did deliberately download during, since it was going to be free.

But... I'm not sure now which 500 Rs scheme I have, since there are two or three, and one has 1.5 GB free daytime download, while the other has 2.5 GB free. I logged into the portal where you can check the usage, and it simply says: Home 500. So how do I find out? I have always supposed it was the 2.5 GB one, but now I am not so sure.

didnt use the double usage even though i was qualified,coz this bsnl accounting staff will mess up my whole usage

if the offer is continued for another month ,then i wud have made use of it , i dont wanna take risk for now
