OpenDNS is free DNS service: www.opendns.com

But I don't think that will help much. I also faced same problem before. I was using OpenDNS when that happened. I had to wait for BSNL to fix the problem. But it's worth a try.

Yes, it a problem with BSNL. It's just like the one I faced a month ago. IBB was the only site without any problem opening. Even Google took 10-15 sec to open then.

You cannot count on BSNL to fix this problem. You should ask Costumer Care about this.

the DNS r as same as bove, but how to configure DNS in modem. here is the snip of router settings! ther is no option for setting DNS! as said in tutorial (UT300R2U) above!

also i have noticed that each time i disconnect the router either i m able to browse only one of the site IBF or gmail not both, & it takes long time too upload ! is ter any sign of torjan/virus infection

I don't think you will be able to set that in Bridge mode. You can set it in your computer. That option is only visible when router is in pppoe mode.

It's important to do a virus (spware/adware/malware etc) scan when there is a problem in system. Try Spybot S&D or Ad-aware PE for the job.

PS. From the way you explained the problem I don't think it's a virus problem. You should contact Customer Care or Local BSNL Exchange ASAP.
