Thread: Problem During 2AM - 8AM

my connection is 500c+ 2MBPS

For the past one month i am facing this weird problem, my connection suddenly gets very slow and almost creeps, i have tried DNS flushing everything, but after sometime i get good speed, when its slow my download spped is stuck at 40-60KB with flashget, most sites take time to open

At time even between 2-8 i get good speed for some time then the problem starts,

when the speed is good i get around 220KBPS and the upload is around 50KBPS (one at a time either DL or UL), now i notice that the "internet" light in my UT300R2U modem suddenly becomes stable and it does not flicker, i am in dial mode, only after i switch off and switch onn the modem, it becomes normal,

Try to change dns during night unlimited(2AM-8AM)

Same is happening with me ... from pune.... current setting is aUto DNS...

which DNS to use???

open dns just wont increase download speed ,it will improve surfing speed for the websites which r on international servers

saesm this problem is quite commen this days as servers r choked during this hour and also bsnl has this contention ratio 50:1 ,which will slow your connection

just complain to bsnl,if u r lucky they will look in to it ,if u r unlucky like me then they wud ignore ur complaints
