    Default after plan change some web sites not opening

    Hi all
    i changed my plan from HOME 250 to UL 750.
    Since then i cant open few websites like yahoo.com or cant even download webcasts from microsoft.com
    Eg : http://msevents.microsoft.com/cui/Re...CountryCode=US

    Few web pages open very fast ...like gmail.com, google.com while other take more time and finally end up with

    Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    Most likely causes:
    You are not connected to the Internet.
    The website is encountering problems.
    There might be a typing error in the address.

    What you can try:
    Diagnose Connection Problems

    More information

    This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

    Internet connectivity has been lost.
    The website is temporarily unavailable.
    The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
    The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
    If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

    For offline users

    You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
    To view subscribed feeds

    Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.

    To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages)

    Click Tools , and then click Work Offline.
    Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view.

    i have tried all possible ways ........changed to OPEN DNS , turned off firewall and antivirus ...even changed MTU value of 1500 to 1400 in router page. still m facing problem.

    but i can download using torrents and DAP etc etc..

    i am sure that system as no virus /trojan or worms.....

    My BSNL Modem is ZXDSL 831AII

    i dial a connection to get connected to internet. PPPoE.

    since u dial a connection, u are on bridge mode.

    enter windows tcp/ip settings, for ZXDSL 831AII
    enter ip -> 192.168.1.10
    enter subnet mask -> 255.255.255.0
    enter default gateway -> 192.168.1.1

    enter the ip of opendns since u prefer that. (Somehow strangely open dns always dies on me.) And remember to disable DHCP server in modem config page, i dont have that modem so cant tell u where it might be. From the data u have given, it looks to me u are a victim of conflicting ips.
    to open modem config type 192.168.1.1 in ur browser. password and username both are 'admin'. post feedback.

    Suggestion 1.:Please try
    TCP/IP properties Advanced WINS
    enable default
    for
    netbios over tcp/ip.

    Suggestion 2: disable IPV6
