    Default unidentified network problem

I have got a bsnl dataone 256kbps unlimited internet connection.I'm using SIEMENS SL2_141 type 2(wireless enabled) modem.Until few days ago my internet was in always on mode i.e whenever i used to switch on my modem it used to login to internet automatically as i had given my ppoe password inside the router by logging in to 192.168.1.1.But recently i lost my connectivity and the customer care told me to bridge the connection and i have to login using xp ppoe dialer .i.e to connect to internet each time I have to enter my username and password in the dialer and dial.I have also a lenovo laptop with vista home premium. From the day I have changed to the dialer system my laptop is not getting connected to internet. The laptop is detecting the wireless network but not getting connected to it.Some unidentified network is showing.I went to network management there under lan network it is written some cable unplugged. Please tell me how can i get rid of this problem also if possible can I get back to the always on mode.Any help is welcome and appreciated

if your modem is now in bridge mode then you have to create a dialer in vista too.as for connecting to wifi network just set the connection to get automatically connected in vista.

    Exclamation re: unidentified network problem

Maybe DHCP is disabled on the router? You may get this problem if DHCP is disabled in your router..
