Rep Power: 2  |  BSNL broadband - night connectivity problem I have a BSNL broadband connection under home 500C plan at Palakkad. I have a peculiar problem! During night, after 2 am I connect to the internet using BSNL broadband, mostly for downloads using torrents. The speed shown is 120KBPS, appx. I keep my notebook switched on. Later on, when I return back at 5.30 - 6 am, the speed is around 25 to 30 KBPS. As soon as I activate my notebook using mouse/keyboard, the speed returns to normal. Why is this so? How do I get a more or less consistent speed? I would also like to admit that the monitor is set to switch off itself, when inactive for 5 minutes. Kindly help. Thanks JayKay |

Rep Power: 1 | Try changing your settings for Hibernate mode and then check. Let me know if the same drop in bandwidth happens |
