    Default What is Solution for this RARE problem??

    yesterday only my new broadband connecton came which is to be home 500c+ but i think i am getting 256 ul connection . i am posting my screenshot of ussage......

    my dl speed is below 28-32 kbps

    speed test shows 256kbps.

    when i connected coustermer care they said u r in h500c+ only but i am not getting that speed.

    in screenshot also chargeble units excluding night are all zeros...........

    how to sort this problem ??

    Doesnt look like much internet use at all. But if it's the speed you are worried about you should check with your ISP or run some more tests from other speed test web sites. And mind the difference between KBps and kbps - Capital and Small B's there - respectively Bytes and bits. 1Byte = 8bits ---- 256Kilobits/sec = 32KiloBytes/sec.

    Speed readings are usually shown in Kbits per sec. Then again if you are subscribed to a 256Kbps plan - it probably means you can get UP TO 256Kbps but that doesn't practically happen owing to line noise, emi and other factors along the path. But you should ideally get at least 80-90% of the upper limit else you always have the right to crib about it. Some providers may allow you burst traffic at certain times of the night or day and you may even get higher speed when that lax happens but that's a different story altogether. Cheers

    this is definitely weird. get a printout of that screenshot or take it in a pen drive to your local bsnl head office and contact them personally and show them what is happening.

    the plan type should be displayed in the potal, look for it.

    and you should immediately report this to your exchange

    Default finally some thing going onnnnnnnnnnn

    today i went to exchange and explain them with print outs but the commercial officer said i cant do any thing .[he is waste fellow he didnt even know how to respect people]

    then luckly one lady[she is from broadband department]came and she understood the problem then she talked with their officers and explained whole thing .they suggested some thing.

    then she make a call to the NIB officer in banglore and explained the problem.

    mean while i also in touch with my local exchange people they also make a complaint to their head office of hyderabad those people helped me a lot.

    and now my plan changed is h500c+ but

    it may take 3-4 days my order status is open

    i am posting my screen shot also.
    if any questions ask me i will replay
    and now order status is Future Dated

    great bsnl changed my plan in just 3 hours.............


    if we go in touch with high officers things will go fast.

    cc is waste.....

    told u so , i was also a victim of those cc people.
    in kolkata, after u lodge a complaint with cc, they sms u after 1 day which reads "dear customer, ur circuit has been restored". but nothing is solved.
